On Tuesday the 8th of November, 11 members of SPE OSC participated on SPE Oslo Section´s lunchmeeting with a talk by Stephen Kuo from BP.
The meeting started with lunch and networking among the other SPE members at AGR´s offices at Skøyen, and we were informed about the Christmas meeting the 13th of December and the OilSim game happening this Saturday (19th of November). Stephen Kuo shared with us his work on risk and uncertainties in field development planning, and we all appreciated the new knowledge he brought us. This subject is something that is genuinely important to reservoir engineers, and Kuo presented to us a systematic approach for risk and uncertainty assessment, an activity plan for uncertainty reduction and at last he gave us some field planning examples.
Stephen Kuo is a part of SPE´s Distinguished Lecturer Program, which means that he is hired by SPE to give presentations to the different sections worldwide.
