SPE – Oslo Student Chapter – company presentation with The Fugro Group in Norway. Wednesday 30th of March, we had our first company presentation for the current semester, and we were delighted to present The Fugro Group in Norway, which covers all aspects of specialist Fugro services.
The presentation started out with a short introduction by the president of SPE Oslo Student Chapter, Katrine, followed by a brief introduction of Fugro as a company by Dr. Thomas Elboth. Later on Wathik Alaaraji talked about his extensive career within Fugro and what kind of possibilities there was in this industry.
Appoximately 15 – 20 students attended this meeting, and it turned out to be a rather short but interesting presentation followed by pizza, refreshments and socializing. The presentation started 1630 and was finished at 1700. When the pizza arrived, we all had the opportunity to ask questions if there was anything we had on our mind, since both Dr. Thomas Elboth and Wathik Alaaraji was around for a couple of hours after the presentation.
We would like to thank everyone who attended the presentation, a big thank you to Dr. Thomas Elboth and Wathik Alaaraji for giving us a valuable presentation about this industry and of course Sindre, our company relations manager, who made this arrangement possible.
