Lunch meeting, 8th of February 2011
8 students from SPE Oslo Student Chapter attended the SPE lunch meeting at AGR offices at Skøyen.
After a lovely lunch sponsored by the SPE Oslo Section we attended two presentations. Dr. Cyril Nardi from numerical rocks held the first presentation in the topic “ Calculation of petrophysical data and transport”, how the technology from numerical rocks can obtain reservoir rock properties.
“Oil and Gas 2030: Meeting the growing demands for energy in the coming decades” was the topic for the second presentation, held by Øyvind Johnsen from IBM and was a summary of the many executive interviews performed by IBM.
